New Patients

We know your life is busy. That’s why we offer a comprehensive initial consultation, so that all of your questions are answered before you leave our office.  During the first visit we take x-rays and photos, doctors complete a thorough exam, and discuss any recommended treatment and the associated costs. That’s right! Before you’re done with the first appointment, you’ll know why you may benefit from orthodontic treatment and what we recommend to improve your smile.

If no treatment is necessary, your child is scheduled for orthodontic observation appointments.

Orthodontic observation appointments, or recall visits, are short exams scheduled every 6 to 12 months to monitor growth and development.  Any harmful oral habits, such as thumb sucking, will be monitored.  Dr. Maslowski and Dr. Michel will make any necessary suggestions to help eliminate any habits prior to starting orthodontic treatment.

There is no charge for observation appointments.  When your child is nearing the time for orthodontic treatment, we’ll let you know the anticipated timeline and cost for services.
